Chracteristics
Alloy-TiC is an alloy in which ultra hard rounded Micro grain of inert
sintered Titanium-Carbide are homogeneously cemented by a tool steel binder
It is possible to weld Alloy-TiC through a diffusion bonding process with tool
steel.
The bonding process Alloytic Co., Ltd was develop-ping is done in our plant
on Customer's sizes request.
Alloy-TiC-STEEL Composites have great advantages
- Wear resistance in a limited area.
- Higher toughness and impact resistance due to the high toughness of the
steel body
- No vibration damping in the junction area
- Easier to machine
- More economic than solid carbide parts
- Minimum Alloy-TiC 3mm
- The heat treatment is without any problem. The steel is always chosen to
be
- hardened at the same temperature than bonded Alloy-TiC grade.
Applications
- Piercing, blanking, deep drawing, sleeves, blank holders, riveting, clinching
- Sonotrodes for plastic welding, injection nozzles and feed screws
- Mechanical parts : transfer arms, friction pads, gauges, guides, bushes
